VIDEO: Peter Obi Expands Education Drive, Awards ₦10m Scholarship to Vulnerable Nursing Students in Bauchi
Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate and a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has expanded his education support initiatives with the donation of a ₦10 million scholarship to vulnerable students of Malikiya College of Nursing Sciences in Bauchi State.
In a video shared on X, Obi was seen presenting the scholarship during a visit to the institution, where he interacted with students and addressed a gathering of nursing students.
The presentation included a cheque of ₦10 million, which was received amid cheers from students who gathered to witness the event.

Obi engaged the students during the visit, speaking on the importance of education and human capital development in national progress.
He noted that supporting access to education remains a key priority in his broader advocacy across the country.
