Pastor Enenche Carries Attributes Of Old Testament Prophets Who Spoke Truth To Power, Unlike Some Cowards Who Are In Bed With Authorities — Social Commentator, Nefertiti
The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center, Pastor Paul Enenche has been described by social commentator, Nefertiti as carrying attributes similar to Old Testament prophets who spoke truth to power, as he continues to make strong public statements on governance and national issues.
Nefertiti, in a reaction to the cleric’s recent remarks urging Nigerians to be more vocal ahead of the 2027 elections, praised his stance, saying he represents a voice willing to challenge authority rather than remain silent in the face of perceived injustice.
In a post on X, Nefertiti referenced several biblical figures who challenged authority in their time: Nathan confronted King David, Amos spoke against King Jeroboam II, Moses stood before Pharaoh Ramses II, while Isaiah challenged the kings of Judah, including Ahaz and Hezekiah.
She also mentioned Daniel’s stand before King Darius of Persia, Elijah’s confrontations with King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, as well as Jeremiah’s bold messages to Kings Jehoiakim and Zedekiah.
According to her, these prophets, along with others such as Hosea, Jonah, and the apostles, consistently opposed corruption, idolatry, and injustice, often at great personal cost, including persecution and martyrdom.

Nefertiti argued that, in the same spirit, men of God are expected to remain fearless and uncompromising in speaking truth, stressing that righteousness is what exalts a nation and that courageous voices have historically played key roles in challenging oppression and guiding societies toward freedom.
She maintained that prophets were never aligned with oppressive authorities but instead stood firmly against them, insisting that their courage often led to societal transformation and liberation of the people.
She concluded by describing Pastor Enenche’s message as courageous and prophetic in nature, adding that it should not be taken lightly.
She contrasted him with what she described as individuals “in bed with authorities,” accusing some public figures of avoiding criticism of those in power for personal or political reasons.
