‘Tinubu Cohorts and APC People Are Threatening Me Because Of Song I Made About His Failed Government,’  ‘Na Your Era’ Crooner, Biq Lion Raises Alarm

A Nigerian artiste, Biq Lion, has alleged that he is receiving threats from individuals he described as associates of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the release of his song criticising the current administration.

The singer, known for his track “Na Your Era,” claimed that the backlash began after the song gained attention online for its critical commentary on the government’s performance.

According to Biq Lion, the threats are linked to the political message conveyed in the song, which he said reflects growing frustrations among Nigerians over economic hardship and governance issues.

In a post on X, the artiste alleged that since the song began gaining traction online, he has received multiple warnings and intimidation attempts aimed at silencing him.

While he did not provide specific details of the threats or name individuals involved, he insisted that the pressure being mounted on him is politically motivated.

He however vowed not to pull down the song.
