‘Despite Producing Nigeria’s Ruler And Power Minister, No Tribe Suffers More Than Us Under Tinubu Because We Are Tribalistic,’ Yoruba Man Declares (VIDEO)
A Southwesterner has said that, despite Yoruba producing Nigeria’s ruler and power minister, the tribe are suffering more than any other under Bola Tinubu because of their tribalistic approach to national governance.
In a viral video on X, In the message, he criticised what he described as tribalistic support for Tinubu, suggesting that some members of the Yoruba community continue to back him primarily because of their shared ethnicity, rather than the policies or performance of the administration.
The man also highlighted the expectations that Yoruba citizens would receive preferential treatment, including improved electricity supply and lower fuel prices, given the ethnic identity of the key government officials.
According to him, these expectations have not been met, and the Yoruba people remain disadvantaged compared to other tribes.
“This is for my fellow Yorubas. I thought that, as a Yoruba living in Nigeria under this Tinubu government, you were supposed to benefit first—have electricity while others don’t, and enjoy lower fuel prices, especially since the President and the Minister of Power are Yoruba. Don’t worry—you Yorubas will suffer badly. You should continue to be tribalistic, supporting Tinubu just because he’s a Yoruba man. More suffering awaits you all.”
