US, Israel Set to Resettle Occupants from Gaza in Africa

US and Israeli officials have approached at least three East African nations to discuss the possibility of relocating Palestinians displaced from Gaza, according to reports from Africa News.
This move suggests that Trump is pushing forward with his widely criticized plan to resettle Gaza’s two million residents, despite his recent statement to reporters at the White House that “nobody is expelling any Palestinians from Gaza.”

US officials have now disclosed that Washington and Tel Aviv have reached out to the governments of Sudan, Somalia, and the self-declared independent region of Somaliland regarding potential resettlement.
All three regions are already facing severe challenges, including civil conflict, drought, and famine. In an effort to secure cooperation, Israel and the US are reportedly offering financial, diplomatic, and security incentives.

Sudanese authorities have rejected these overtures, while officials from Somalia and Somaliland claim they are unaware of any such discussions.
Last month, Trump proposed a US-led takeover of Gaza, framing it as a large-scale real estate development project.
