US-Based Lobbyist, Gerasoulis Knocks Tinubu Over Alleged AI Generated Photo With Kagame, Labels Him Forger-In-Chief
US-based lobbyist Elias Gerasoulis has told Nigerians not to be surprised by claims that the photograph of Bola Tinubu and Rwandan President Paul Kagame having lunch in Paris was generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI), saying Tinubu’s antecedents showcase him as an experienced counterfeiter who forged his way to power.
Bola Tinubu has come under intense scrutiny after it was revealed that an image he shared, showing a private lunch with Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame in Paris on 4 January 2026, was AI-generated
The photo, which included a visible “Grok” watermark, quickly went viral online, sparking questions about the authenticity of visuals shared by public figures and drawing sharp criticism from social media users
While the lunch reportedly took place as scheduled, the AI-generated image overshadowed the actual event, fueling debate about the responsible use of artificial intelligence in high-profile communications.

In his reactions to the development, Elias Gerasoulis in a post on X said the development did not meet him unaware based on Bola Tinubu antecedents as counterfeiter.
According to him, ‘’There is a notification at the end of the tweet by @officialABAT from Grok that this photo of President Tinubu and President Kagame is likely AI produced. It would typically be shocking that a head of state would be issuing forged photos, but that should not be a surprise with Tinubu.’’
