Tinubu Sent Millions Of Citizens Into Poverty By Removing Subsidy, Only To Pay Health Ministry N36M As Yearly Budget For Over 200m Nigerians — Henry Shield Brands APC Govt Useless
Nigeria political commentator, Henry Shield has reiterated his criticism of the Bola Tinubu government, questioning why an administration that impoverished citizens by removing fuel subsidy would only release N36 million annually for Health Ministry to cater for over 200 million people.
In a post on X, the commentator criticised the government’s questionable priorities, arguing that while citizens bear the brunt of subsidy removal, essential sectors like healthcare continue to suffer from underfunding.
While branding the All Progressives Congress APC governments useless, Shield however said Tinubu government ranks highest.

‘’You removed subsidy, sent millions of citizens into poverty, only to pay Ministry of Health N36M as yearly budget for 200m people? Even Buhari wasn’t this useless.’’
Under Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s health sector has continued to face chronic underfunding, raising concerns about the country’s ability to provide adequate healthcare to citizens.
The Ministry of Health’s 2025 budget stands at only N36 million, a figure widely considered insufficient to address the nation’s pressing health challenges, including vaccine shortages, inadequate medical supplies, and decaying hospital infrastructure.
