Tinubu Has No Business With Governance, He Attained Power To Collect Taxes, Sell Crude Oil And Enjoy Tax-Payers’ Money – Henry Shield
Political commentator, Henry Shield has accused Bola Ahmed Tinubu of lacking genuine interest in governance, claiming that the former Lagos governor attained power primarily to collect taxes, sell crude oil, and benefit personally from public funds.
In a statement shared on X, Shield argued that Tinubu’s government has consistently prioritized the enrichment of a select circle of allies over addressing critical national issues, including insecurity, inflation, and infrastructure deficits.

‘’Tinubu just came to power to collect taxes, sell crude oil and enjoy the money. Nothing concern am with governance,’’ He said.
The comment comes amid rising public scrutiny over the administration’s handling of government revenue and federal projects.
Critics have pointed to a series of controversial contracts awarded under Tinubu’s watch, alongside increasing fuel prices and persistent economic hardships, as evidence that the government is not serving the broader Nigerian populace.
