Tinubu Govt Knows Every Terrorist By Name, Location; I Go With Police, Military, Other Security Agencies To Negotiate With Them — Ahmad Gumi (VIDEO)
Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi, has claimed that the Tinubu government knows the identities and locations of terrorists operating in the country and that he visits them for negotiations with the backing of security agencies.
Gumi made the remark while speaking about his controversial engagements with armed groups in Nigeria, insisting that his meetings with them are not conducted independently but with the knowledge and involvement of security agencies.
According to the cleric, the government possesses detailed intelligence on the terrorists but has at times explored negotiation as part of efforts to address the country’s persistent security challenges.
“The federal govt (of Nigeria) knows every terrorist by name and location. I do not go alone to negotiate with terrorists. I go with police, military, and other security agencies”
The cleric, who has previously visited camps of insurgents in parts of northern Nigeria, said the aim of such engagements is to persuade them to abandon violence and embrace peaceful solutions.

Gumi has long advocated dialogue with armed groups, arguing that military force alone cannot end the insurgency and banditry plaguing several regions of the country.
