Security Alert Raises Alarm Over Imminent Terror Attacks In Taraba And Southern Kaduna

A fresh security alert issued by Judd Saul has raised alarm over imminent coordinated terrorist attacks expected in parts of Taraba State and Southern Kaduna.

According to the briefing, the Chenchenji–Yelwa axis in Taraba has been placed on critical threat level, with an attack reportedly expected around March 23. Targets are said to include civilians and local defense groups.

The alert claims that fighters linked to the FEM Takum unit have already mobilized and are positioning for assault. Indicators highlighted include armed movement across the Donga River, infiltration through cattle herds, and drone-confirmed presence of machine guns.

A recent attack in Tor-Damisa was also referenced, where five people were killed, further reinforcing fears of escalation. The report identified a key staging area in New Gboko, described as seized farmland currently under terrorist control, with activity suggesting an attack could occur within days.

In Southern Kaduna, particularly Chikun, Kajuru, and Kachia, the alert points to large-scale terrorist movement since March 16. Motorcycle convoys and heavy infiltration into forest zones and nearby communities have been observed.

High-risk areas listed include Rijana Forest, Kamuku Forest, and the Birnin Gwari corridor, with threats ranging from coordinated raids and ambushes to possible execution of kidnapped victims.
