Report Says Mbappe ‘Already Signed Contract’ with Real Madrid
Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint-Germain player, finalized an agreement two weeks ago that stipulates his transition to Real Madrid starting July 1st.
According to a report from Spanish newspaper MARCA released on Monday, Mbappe has formally inked a 5-year deal with the Spanish club, confirming his move to the Bernabeu.
This transfer saga surrounding the 25-year-old has been a prolonged affair, with Real Madrid expressing interest in Mbappe since 2017, when he made waves as a teenager playing for Monaco.
On February 15th, Mbappe communicated his intention to depart Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current season, as disclosed by a source closely associated with the Ligue 1 champions.
“The terms of the departure have yet to be fully agreed,” the source said, adding that the club and Mbappe will make an official statement “when everything is finalised in the next few months.”
According to Monday’s publication by MARCA, an agreement between Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid was signed two weeks prior. As of July 1st, the French striker will join the white team as a new player, as confirmed by MARCA.
“When the player met with PSG last Tuesday to inform them that he would be leaving the club on June 30, he asked him not to be presented with any new renewal offer.
“The reason was that he had already signed his signature on the contract that would tie him to Real Madrid for five seasons, as had been suspected in Paris for some time.

“At that point, PSG was already more interested in its star player fulfilling the commitment agreed in the summer to waive a very significant amount, the third installment of the loyalty bonus, to allow him to rejoin the first team.”
Despite the absence of formal statements from PSG and Real Madrid concerning the player, uncertainties persist regarding their future.
