Osimhen Scores Hat-Trick as Galatasaray Crush Antalyaspor 4-0

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen delivered a stunning hat-trick as Galatasaray cruised to a commanding 4-0 victory over Antalyaspor on Friday night.

Álvaro Morata added to the scoreline with a penalty, sealing an emphatic win.

Osimhen opened the scoring at Rams Park in the 30th minute, finishing off a pass from Morata. Just before halftime, Morata doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 45th minute.

Deep into first-half stoppage time, Osimhen struck again, this time assisted by B. Yılmaz. He completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute, latching onto a delivery from Y. Akgün.

Osimhen’s treble takes his league tally to 20 goals in 22 appearances, making him the Turkish Süper Lig’s top scorer.

Since arriving at Galatasaray on loan from Napoli after the fourth match of the season, the Nigerian forward has racked up 26 goals and 5 assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.

Galatasaray’s dominant display further cements their grip on the Süper Lig title race. Heading into the match, they topped the standings with 68 points from 26 matches, boasting an unbeaten run of 21 wins and 5 draws.

With this victory, they extend their lead to 71 points, widening the gap over closest rivals Fenerbahçe, who sit on 61 points from 25 games.

Adding to the occasion, this match marked head coach Okan Buruk’s 100th game in charge, as highlighted in a post-match statement on the club’s website.

“Galatasaray faced Onvo Antalyaspor in the 28th week of the Trendyol Super Lig. Our team won the match played at Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park with a score of 4-0.

“Our goals came from Victor Osimhen (30′, 45+3′, 52′) and Alvaro Morata (45+2′).

“Continuing their undefeated lead, the team increased its points tally to 71 and increased it to 10 with two games more than its opponent.

“Before the match, our coach Okan Buruk was presented with a plaque to commemorate his 100th match as a coach at Galatasaray,” it read.

Yunus Akgün, Lucas Torreira, and Victor Osimhen were substituted in the 68th minute, making way for Roland Sallai, Dries Mertens, and Mario Lemina.

In the 73rd minute, Antalyaspor’s Van de Streek had a shot blocked by Muslera—Antalyaspor’s only notable attack in the second half, according to the club’s statement.

Davinson Sanchez was replaced by Kaan Ayhan in the 77th minute. Two minutes later, Ayhan attempted to score from a free kick, but his shot was saved by goalkeeper Piric.

Berkan Kutlu entered the match in the 83rd minute, replacing Barış Alper. Despite several chances created by Morata and Sara in the final moments, no additional goals were scored. The team now looks ahead to an away fixture against Beşiktaş, securing a commanding 4-0 victory.
