Nigerians Call Out RCCG For Celebrating ‘Renewed Hope’ Campaign Bus Reportedly Donated By ‘Evil’ APC Government While Christians Suffer Continued Genocidal Attacks Under Tinubu (VIDEO)

Nigerians have slammed the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) after a video surfaced showing the church celebrating a “Renewed Hope” APC campaign bus, allegedly provided by the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

The backlash comes amid escalating attacks on Christian communities across the country, with some Nigerians accusing the church of ignoring widespread insecurity and attacks against Christians while appearing to endorse a government many say has failed to protect its citizens.

The controversy began after a 7 second video surfaced on April 5, 2026, on X. The clip captured a white bus boldly decorated with political messages such as Renewed Hope for Nigeria and Mega Empowerment 2026, along with the image of Tinubu and other political figures.

The bus also carried inscriptions referencing Ikeja Federal Constituency and featured APC logos, reinforcing its political connection. It was parked within the dusty church premises while members, mostly women and children dressed for Sunday service, stood nearby as the camera moved across the scene.

The caption attached to the video quickly fueled outrage, claiming that attending RCCG was equivalent to supporting the APC and urging people to seek a more God fearing place of worship.

Reacting on X, some Nigerians, including a religious figure, DON “Tobechukwu” Ade @Row_Haastrup wrote ‘’Easter Sunday Massacre: Terrorists Attack Two Churches In Kaduna, Kill At Least Seven Worshippers, Abduct Several, I am so appalled and ashamed that while this happened on Easter Sunday, another church was celebrating a bus bought to support this evil man called Tinubu, his party APC & this evil government. May the blood of those wasted judge & speak against EVERYONE supporting this evil government.’’
