#Occupynass2026: ‘We Are Ready To March With You,’ Netizen Urges Peter Obi, Other Opposition Leaders To Join Movement Against Electoral Fraud
As campaign against electoral fraud under the All Progressive Congress APC continues to gain traction, prominent activist on X Nefertiti has called on key opposition figures including Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Kwankwaso to mobilise and join other patriotic Nigerians to protest against democratic malpractice.
The #Occupynass2026 movement, largely driven by civil society actors and social media users, calls for demonstrators to “occupy” the National Assembly in protest against what participants describe as irregularities and manipulation within Nigeria’s electoral processes.

Writing on X following commencement of the action on Friday, Nefertiti said Nigerians are prepared to march alongside prominent opposition leaders in defence of democracy and electoral credibility.
“Stop tweeting and act. Nigeria is at stake. Democracy is at stake,” the post read, warning that the 2027 general election represents a defining moment for the country. The activist stressed that personal and party interests must be set aside, insisting that “2027 is bigger than all of us.”
The appeal further stated that Nigerians are ready to mobilise but are waiting for direction from opposition leaders, urging them to come out openly and lead citizens to the National Assembly in a peaceful mass protest against electoral fraud and democratic decline.
