NANS promises that the Oyo varsity student will receive justice.

Alex Timileyin, an Ajayi Crowther University student who was tortured to death after being accused of phone theft, will receive justice, according to the National Association of Nigerian Students, Oyo Axis.

The NANS Oyo Chairman, Ridwan Adegoke, revealed this to our correspondent over the phone on Wednesday.

On Saturday, Timileyin’s coworkers beat him to death over a claim that he had stolen a cell phone. It was claimed that his attackers had forced the deceased man’s hair to be shaved, and he was assaulted after the missing item was purportedly discovered in his hands.

According to eyewitnesses, Timileyin was beaten from “6 p.m. (Friday) until he died at about 10 a.m. (Saturday),” confirming the incident.

The management also issued a statement stating that the police will be conducting an investigation into the actions of the now-expelled perpetrators.

Adegoke claimed that the body of students was keeping an eye on the legal system and that they had no need for concern because he was aware of the management and police efforts to ensure that the law is upheld.

“I have been working with the state police command, and I can say with confidence that they are vigilant,” he declared. You are speaking with me personally; I cannot back down since the person who passed away was a fellow student, and I am actively and really engaged in pursuing justice.

“I met with the ACU campus administration staff today and paid a visit to the police station housing the criminals. Since I had to contact the police to ensure they had reached the state criminal investigation department upon their turnover, we have been monitoring the case’s development.

According to what I’ve been told, the school collaborated with DSS to apprehend the accused student who was evading custody, demonstrating their active involvement in the situation. It was also said that his parents had been informed and instructed to take care of him. The school even personally picked the eighteen suspects and sent them over to the police for interrogation.
