SNAKEBITE: Former Kaduna Senator Blames Dirty Environment For Ifunanya’s Death, Exonerates Poor Health Sector
A former Kaduna State senator Shehu Sani has attributed the tragic death of fast rising Nigerian singer, Ifunanya Nwangene, who died from a snakebite, to unsanitary living conditions, saying the incident highlights the dangers of poor household hygiene rather than failures in the health sector.
Speaking on the matter, Sani warned that littered eggshells and rats in homes attract snakes, which can lead to deadly encounters. He also explained that some of the movements or noises residents hear in ceilings or POP installations are often battles between snakes and rats.
‘’The tragic death of Ifunanya from snake bite should be a great lesson for us all. A snake charmer from Zaria recently revealed that nothing attracts snakes to our homes like littered Eggs shells and Rats.He further explained that some of the battles going on inside our ceilings or POP is between the Snakes and the Rats.May her gentle soul rest in peace.’’

Recall that Parallel Facts News reports that aspiring singer Ifunanya Nwangene on Saturday died from a snake bite in the capital, Abuja.

Nwangene, 26, gained national attention after appearing on The Voice Nigeria in 2021 and was known for blending jazz, opera, classical music and soul.
