Islamic Movements In Support Of Iranian Regime May Start Attacking Innocent Local Christians In Nigeria And Other Countries Soon — Global Christian Group Raises Alarm

A leading international Christian advocacy group Christian Emergency Alliance has warned that protesters supporting the Iranian regime could soon target innocent local Christians in Nigeria and other countries.

The group cautioned that recent demonstrations in solidarity with Iran, sparked by US‑Israeli strikes on Iranian territory, may escalate beyond political protest into acts of violence against Christian communities perceived to oppose the Iranian government.

‘’We’ve received alerts from nervous Christians in Nigeria, Pakistan and other countries about growing protests in support of the Iranian regime.

In the past, these types of protests have at times led to the targeting of innocent local Christians. Pray for the Christians of Iran, and also those in unstable regions.’’

The alert comes amid global unease over the widening Iran-US-Israel conflict, which has already sparked protests and unrest in multiple regions, including parts of Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), popularly known as Shiites, have recently took to the streets of Niger State on Sunday to protest the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Parallelfact had earlier reported that the Ali Khamenei was killed in coordinated United States-Israel strikes on Iran on Saturday.

In a repoort by NigerianVoice, dozens of IMN members mobilised shortly after news of Khamenei’s death filtered through social media channels.

The protesters marched through parts of the state chanting solidarity slogans and waving Iranian flags and placards bearing inscriptions such as “We Stand With Iran,” “Free Iran,” and other anti-US and anti-Israel messages.

They described the reported killing as an act of “global injustice and imperial aggression.”A leading international Christian advocacy group Christian Emergency Alliance has warned that protesters supporting the Iranian regime could soon target innocent local Christians in Nigeria and other countries.
