Increased American Support Will Depend On How Nigerian Government Protects Its Christian Community — US Congressman Moore Fumes At Renewed Genocide Under Tinubu

A US lawmaker, Riley Moore has condemned the continued attacks on Christians in Nigeria, warning that future American assistance will hinge on the Nigerian government’s ability to protect its Christian population.

Moore’s comments come amid reports of ongoing genocidal attacks and killings in the country, which Bola Tinubu government has overtime failed to address.

He stressed that Nigeria must take decisive action to safeguard vulnerable populations, particularly Christians in regions prone to attacks, or risk losing critical international assistance.

‘’Christians continue to be explicitly targeted for their faith in Nigeria. ISIS-West Africa is slaughtering Christians and telling other Christians they must convert or die.

In our report to the White House, we made it clear that increased American support is contingent on the Nigerian government doing more to defend Christians. Now is the time for Abuja to step up.’’
