
BREAKING: I’ll Take Tough Decisions, Bring In More PDP Govs — New APC Chair

The new Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has vowed to take tough decisions in his position as the leader of the ruling party.
Yilwatda stated this on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme hours after he emerged as APC chair in Abuja.
The new APC chairman said he would invest in legwork to bring more governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other opposition parties to join the APC.

Recall that The National Executive Committee, NEC, of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has appointed Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Prof. Nentawe Yiltwada, as National Chairman of the party.
Yiltwada replaces Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned on June 27.

Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum PGF, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state, made the nomination.
He was seconded by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Tajudeen Abbas, and Yiltwada became APC chairman.
