If DHQ Was Aware Of The Air Strike, Those Terrorists Would Have Escaped — Netizen Lauds Trump For Hiding Target Location From Nigeria Military Over Sabotage

A netizen has lauded President Donald Trump for hiding the target location from Nigerian military authorities, suggesting that if the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) was aware of the US air strike on ISIS terrorists in northwest Nigeria, the terrorists would have escaped.

The strike, carried out in Sokoto state, killed multiple ISIS militants with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth commending the strike, hinting at more actions to come.

Taking to X to commend the development, a netizen, Opeyemi Babalola @BOTAD01 praised Trump’s precision, while raising questions about potential sabotage within the Nigerian military.

Sabotage within Nigeria’s military has been a major significant concern, with corruption and internal decay undermining the country’s security efforts.

The Nigerian military has been plagued by allegations of corruption, with billions of dollars stolen or misappropriated, leaving soldiers under-equipped and under-trained to fight against groups like Boko Haram.
