2027: We Are Prepared To Resist Any Attempt By APC To Rig — Former Sokoto Governor, Tambuwal (VIDEO)
Former Sokoto State Governor, AminuTambuwal, has issued a vehement warning to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring that any attempt to manipulate the 2027 elections would be met with determined resistance.
Speaking in a video, the lawmaker representing Sokoto South Senatorial District said oppositions in the country are prepared to checkmate any attempt to ruin the country’s democracy.
‘’Nobody is going to write any result this time around. Nobody. We are ready and prepared to go through an electoral process that must be free and fair, any attempt to write any result will be resisted, lawfully and constitutionally. That’s why we are still beginning again, as some of our leaders used to say.
‘And that’s what we are doing in the coalition. Try to really work together as Nigerians and bring everybody on board that is concerned about the unity of this country, its progress and development. And then that’s what I see coming out of what we are doing as a coalition and what we are doing as a new political order.’’

He also condemned Bola Tinubu for what he described as coercion of opposition governors to joining the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, describing it as democratic aberration.
‘’Why are they being panicky, cajoling, intimidating, harassing governors to join their political party? I mean, this is what they started right from when cases were in the Supreme Court. We were aware that the presidency was involved in midwife in a process whereby every governor was returned, even where there were clear cases of injustice, miscarriage of justice.
‘’When I see governors running away from their political party simply because they want to go and align with the center and belong to the center because they believe that they are going to write results for them, nobody is going to write any result this time around.’’
