Explosion Hits Kidandan, Kaduna, 10 Children Injured
An explosion in Kidandan village, Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Saturday left at least 10 children injured.
The children had been playing with an object they discovered in a nearby bush when the incident occurred.
Reports indicate that while the children were examining the object, suspected to be a bomb, it detonated.
The village head, Alhaji Abubakar Ruka, confirmed the incident, stating that the injured children were promptly transported to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital and Shika Hospital in Zaria for medical attention.

Alhaji Abubakar Ruka mentioned that the names of the victims are currently being compiled, and local authorities, including the police, have visited the community.
He emphasized that, fortunately, there were no fatalities, but all 10 injured children are undergoing treatment at the hospitals.
