A public commentator, Sir Dickson, has criticised Seyi Tinubu for urging Nigerians to remain hopeful in his father’s administration, stating that the government did not campaign on proven results.
Dickson’s remarks come after Seyi Tinubu appealed to citizens to keep faith in Bola Tinubu despite mounting economic and security challenges facing the country.
The post quotes Seyi Tinubu urging Nigerians to trust his father’s administration for fixing “cracks” in the system to avert future crises, while praying for a second term, and sarcastically notes the absence of concrete achievements in the campaign.
Amid Nigeria’s 2027 election buildup, Tinubu’s nearly three-year tenure has been marked sufferings occasioned by economic reforms like fuel subsidy removal among others.
Reacting, Dickson argued that Nigerians are experiencing what he described as hardship adding that it is unfair to ask citizens for continued patience after three years in office.
