The Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a respected clergyman with the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) has again called on US President Donald Trump not to delay his intervention to save Christians in Nigeria, citing a renewed “genocide” against faithful in the country.

Trump has threatened military action against Nigeria if the killings don’t stop, designating the country as a “Country of Particular Concern” for religious freedom violations.

However, in a new video Dachomo whose activism has put him in danger, with death threats and accusations of inciting unrest called on Trump not to delay his intervention as more Christians are being killed daily.

Dachomo’s plea comes as Nigeria faces escalating violence, with over 4,476 Christians killed for their faith in 2024, according to statistics.

 The Nigerian government denies allegations of genocide, but Dachomo and other Christian leaders claim the authorities are complicit or ineffective in stopping the attacks.
