AFCON: Osimhen Gets Medical Clearance, Set to Reunite With Teammates in Bouake
The Super Eagles’ forward, Victor Osimhen, has received clearance from the team’s medical staff ahead of the upcoming clash against South Africa.
Recall that Osimhen was unable to join the Super Eagles’ journey to Bouake, where they were set to face South Africa in the semi-final, due to abdominal discomfort.
It was announced that the Napoli striker would undergo examination on Tuesday morning, and upon receiving clearance, he would reunite with the team in Bouake.
Sources from Abidjan confirm that Osimhen is en route to Bouake after being deemed fit by the medical professionals.
The 25-year-old has been a consistent starter in all five of the Super Eagles’ matches in Cote d’Ivoire, contributing one goal and one assist to the team’s campaign.
