‘If We Move In Numbers Forgetting Which Region Produces Next President, We Will Conquer Our Oppressors,’ Actor Kunle Remi Tells Nigerians Amid Premium ‘Shege’ Under Tinubu
Popular Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi, has called on Nigerians to rise above ethnic and regional divisions, urging collective action in the face of worsening economic hardship across the country.
The actor made the remark while reacting to the current living conditions, stressing that unity among citizens remains the most powerful tool to challenge oppression and demand accountability.
According to him, Nigerians must stop focusing on which region should produce the next leader and instead prioritize common interests that affect everyday survival.

“If we move in numbers, forgetting which region produces the next leader, we will conquer our oppressors,” he said.
Remi’s comments come amid widespread frustration over rising fuel prices, electricity shortages, and the increasing cost of living. In recent remarks shared online, the actor lamented the economic strain, describing himself as “mentally stressed” due to the high cost of petrol and constant reliance on generators.
He also warned that Nigerians can no longer afford to remain passive, insisting that citizens must become actively involved in holding leaders accountable.
