“Civilization Will Die Tonight”: Donald Trump Sends Explosive Threat, Set Deadline to Iran Amid Escalating War

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a very serious and shocking warning to Iran, declaring that “a whole civilization will die tonight” if the country’s leadership fails to agree to a deal aimed at halting or ending the ongoing conflict.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump intensified his rhetoric, writing that such destruction would be irreversible. While expressing reluctance, he suggested the situation could still unfold, adding that a shift toward “smarter and less radicalized minds” in Iran could lead to a different outcome.

He described the moment as one of the most critical in modern history and claimed that decades of “extortion, corruption, and death” would soon end.

Trump also called for “regime change,” framing it as a path toward what he described as a more stable and constructive future for Iran.

The president has reportedly set an 8 p.m. ET deadline on Tuesday for Iran to comply, warning that failure to do so could trigger large-scale attacks on key infrastructure, including bridges and power plants.

Such threats have raised concerns, as strikes on civilian infrastructure may violate the Geneva Convention and could be classified as war crimes under international law.

Diplomatic efforts are still ongoing, with reports suggesting that negotiations may continue and that Trump could extend the deadline.

A central issue in the standoff is Iran’s control of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil route. The conflict has already contributed to a spike in oil prices over the past five weeks.

At a press conference on Monday, Trump further escalated his warnings, stating that a plan was in place to destroy Iran’s infrastructure in a matter of hours.

He claimed that every bridge and power plant in the country could be rendered inoperable through coordinated strikes, describing it as “complete demolition” to be executed over a four-hour period.

In a separate post on Sunday, which coincided with Easter morning, Trump referred to Tuesday as “Power Plant Day” and “Bridge Day,” and issued another warning demanding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

His remarks also included an ultimatum to Iran, warning of severe consequences if it failed to comply.

Meanwhile, diplomatic sources indicate that Pakistan is playing a key role in mediating ongoing negotiations between the United States, Israel, and Iran, as efforts continue to de-escalate tensions and prevent further escalation of the conflict.
