‘Shame On Muslims Questioning My Presence At Jos Christian Massacre Scene,’ Barbir Hits Out At Islamic Extremists Calling For His Arrest Over Alleged Incitement
American missionary and humanitarian, Alex Barbir, has condemned critics including Bigot Bashir Ahmad and other Islamic extremists who have questioned his presence at the site of the recent Christian massacre in Jos, Plateau State.
He also dismissed calls for his arrest over alleged incitement, describing the accusations as baseless and an attempt to shift focus from the victims.
Barbir, who has been actively documenting and assisting communities affected by attacks in Jos and Benue, criticized individuals who politicise humanitarian efforts and use religious bias to intimidate those responding to violence.

He said questioning his presence at the massacre site undermines efforts to shed light on the severity of the attacks.
‘’Christians directly targeted by Muslims in the capitol of Plateau state killing dozens and the only response from Muslims is questioning why I was at the scene? Shame on these wicked people. If people were not massacred daily there would be no scene to arrive at.’’

Bashir and other critics had on Monday called for Barbir’s arrest, accusing him of inciting tension between religious groups.
Barbir refuted the claims, insisting that his work is focused solely on providing support, documenting atrocities, and advocating for justice for victims.
