‘Tinubu Is Not Fit To Be Commander In Chief, He is Only Using Presidential Office To Promote His International Businesses,’ SDP Chieftain Adebayo

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Adewole Adebayo, has criticised Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that he is unfit to serve as Nigeria’s Commander-in-Chief.

Adebayo made the remarks while reacting to the current state of governance and economic hardship in the country, accusing Tinubu of prioritising personal and international business interests over national leadership.

According to the SDP chieftain, the responsibilities of the presidency require competence, focus, and commitment to the welfare of citizens, qualities he claimed are currently lacking in the former Lagos governor.

“Tinubu is not fit to be Commander-in-Chief. He is only using the presidential office to promote his international businesses, that’s why the government is full of those who could have worked for him in his private business empire.” Adebayo stated.

Adebayo also linked the worsening economic conditions including inflation, high fuel costs, and declining purchasing power  to what he described as poor leadership decisions.
