While Tinubu Abandons Health Sector, Two Children Reportedly Die At Kebbi General Hospital After Wrongful Injection by Unqualified Staff
As Nigeria’s health sector continues to suffer under Bola Tinubu, two children have reportedly died at a government health facility in Kebbi State after allegedly receiving a wrongful injection administered by unqualified staff.
According to a family source, Saleh A. Shuni took his two daughters to General Hospital Zuru after they fell ill. The children sadly lost their lives following the administration of an injection under circumstances that have raised serious concerns.

The incident, according to local accounts, is not isolated. There are claims that similar cases have occurred in the past at General Hospital Zuru, allegedly linked to a shortage of qualified personnel and negligence among some healthcare workers.
‘’One of my younger brother Saleh A Shuni recently took his two daughters to General Hospital Zuru due to illness. Sadly, both girls lost their lives as a result of an injection administered by unprofessional staff at the hospital.

‘’This is not an isolated case. Such incidents have reportedly occurred many times at General Hospital Zuru, largely due to a lack of qualified personnel and negligence on the part of some medical staff.
‘’I cannot forget that a similar incident once happened to the late Mansur Kele. The matter was covered up and eventually forgotten. There was also a case where a newborn baby’s hand was amputated, and again, the issue was quietly swept under the carpet without accountability.’’
Meanwhile, Social media Mallam Jabir has attributed the incident to the direct failure of the Kebbi State Government and the Nigerian government for abandoning the healthcare sector.
