Aside Christian Genocide, There Is Ongoing Islamic Conquest In Nigeria, Mike Arnold Raises Alarm
A former mayor of Blanco, Texas, Mike Arnold has warned of what he describes as an ongoing Islamic conquest in Nigeria, in addition to the Christian genocide affecting parts of the country.
Arnold in a post on X warned that the violence targeting Christian communities is only part of a larger pattern of religiously motivated aggression.
He claimed that areas across Nigeria are experiencing systematic attempts to dominate and influence communities under the guise of religion.

‘’Some people push back on the term “” In Nigeria. That’s because the jihadis slaughter, rape, enslave and displace more than just Christians (the first and primary and vast majority of victims), but also “apostate” (non-violent) Muslims as well.
‘’Perhaps we should call it what it really is: The ongoing Islamic Conquest of Nigeria.’’
Islamist terrorist groups have continued to wreak havoc across Nigeria, leaving thousands dead and millions displaced. The insurgency, primarily led by Boko Haram and its splinter faction, Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), has targeted civilians, schools, churches, and security forces across the Northeast.
Since 2009, Boko Haram has carried out suicide bombings, mass shootings, and village raids, including the infamous 2014 abduction of schoolgirls in Chibok. ISWAP, which split from Boko Haram in 2016, has focused attacks more on military and government targets, while still threatening civilian populations and IDP camps.
Terrorists have also expanded operations to Nigeria’s Northwest and Middle Belt, including states such as Kaduna, Zamfara, Sokoto, and Niger, carrying out raids, killings, and abductions.
Common tactics include kidnappings for ransom, mass killings, destruction of homes and schools, and forced recruitment of children.
