Tinubu, Sultan of Sokoto Preside Over Genocide and Impunity; I Hope Trump Treats Them Like Maduro and Ayatollah Soon — Mike Arnold
A former mayor of Blanco, Texas, Mike Arnold as accused Bola Tinubu and the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III of presiding over what he describes as genocide and a culture of impunity.
He added that he hopes United States President, Donald Trump eventually treats them with the same severity he applied to Nicolás Maduro and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The administration of Trump adopted one of the most aggressive U.S. foreign policy stances toward Venezuela in decades, targeting President Nicolás Maduro with sweeping sanctions, political isolation, and ultimately a military operation that removed him from power.

In late February 2026, Iran’s long-time Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who had led the Islamic Republic since 1989, was killed during a major military offensive launched by the United States and Israel against Iranian targets.
According to official statements from the U.S. and allied sources, the strikes targeted multiple military and government sites, including areas near Khamenei’s offices, as part of a campaign aimed at degrading Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities and weakening its leadership infrastructure.
In a post on X, Arnold likened Tinubu and Sultan to the embattled erstwhile leader of Venezuela and the deceased Iran Supreme leader.

“I am disrespectful to Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Sultan of Sokoto because they are presiding over genocide, mass displacement, industrial-scale mineral theft, total impunity for killers, and the deliberate denial of aid and recognition to more than ten million displaced human beings.
‘’They deserve no respect. They deserve scorn. And I will continue to heap it on them — publicly, creatively, and with great enthusiasm — until THEY repent or are displaced.’’
