‘Wike Defies Court Order, Sends Caterpillar To Destroy Life Camp Garden In Abuja’ Fayose Cries Out
Political activist Isaac Fayose, has condemned the destruction and demolition of Life Camp Garden in Abuja, accusing the FCT authorities led by Nyesom Wike of defying court orders.
In a passionate statement and video on Instagram, Fayose highlighted that the garden, which had been developed over 12 years with investments exceeding ₦1 billion, is being demolished despite an existing court order restraining any destruction.
“They have brought tractors to destroy our swimming pool, fountains, and walkways.
This place, once a forest, was turned into a recreational garden for the people. Now everything is being destroyed. How can someone just ignore court orders like this?” he asked.

Fayose criticized the apparent double standard, noting that while civil servants are expected to obey court rulings, the same rules seem not to apply to those in power.
“You want civil servants to obey your court orders, but you don’t obey court order. So the court, the judges, are for the rich, not for the poor,” he said.
He expressed concern over the wider implications for investment and urban development in Nigeria, questioning how the government could encourage investors when such blatant disregard for the law persists.
Fayose also urged authorities to fear God and respect judicial processes.
Footage shared alongside Fayose’s statement reportedly shows heavy machinery demolishing parts of the garden, including fountains, the swimming pool, and recreational walkways, with rubble scattered across the area.
The political activist warned that this act of destruction would not be forgotten, saying, “Another government will come, and they will take this garden back.”
