‘No Lobbying Can Erase The Fact That Nigeria Is Dangerous Country To Live As Christian’, Says Riley Moore
A United States Congressman, Riley Moore, has said that no amount of lobbying can erase the fact that Nigeria is the most dangerous country to be Christian in the entire world.
Moore who was reacting to the alleged payment of a whooping $9 million by the Nigerian government to a US lobbying firm to counter the Christian genocide narratives in the country stated this at an event organized by the United States Commission International Religious Freedom, (USCIRF).
While speaking on the subject of global Christian persecution with a focus on Nigeria, Moore said his recent fact-finding to Nigeria has exposed him to the fact that Christians are being systematically killed in the because of their faith by Islamists extremists, terrorists and bandits.

“So I think as many of us know, Nigeria is the most dangerous country in the world to be a Christian. It’s the most dangerous place in the world to profess your faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” Moore said.
He stated that according to his findings, between 50,000 on the low end to 100,000 Christians have been slaughtered in Nigeria since 2009, adding that tens of thousands of churches have been burned and millions of Christians been displaced.

“When I was in Nigeria, particularly in Benue State, I witnessed 600,000 Christians living in Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), camps. I had a one-on-one discussion with them.
“I will tell you, it was one of the most tragic scenes I’ve ever seen. The positions that they’re having to survive in,” he added.
