Terrorists Fleeing After US Airstrikes Hit Enclaves In Sokoto (VIDEO)
A new video is circulating on social media detailing how Lakurawa Terrorists have been forced to flee their forest hideouts after the United States carried out airstrikes in parts of Sokoto State.
President Donald Trump on Christmas day sanctioned a “powerful and deadly” strikes against militants linked to the Islamic State group (IS) in north-western Nigeria, where militants have sought to establish a foothold.
Trump told Politico he ordered the 25 December strikes as “a Christmas present” – contradicting a statement by Nigerian officials.

Camps run by the group in Sokoto state were hit near the border with Niger, the US military said. Casualty numbers are unclear, but both US and Nigerian officials say militants were killed.
After the stirkes, newsmen visited the affected locations to assess the situation. During their investigation, they also toured other communities previously attacked by the Lakurawa across the state.
According to the journalists, there are clear indications that some of the strikes accurately hit their intended targets.

However, despite this, the reporters noted that fear still lingers in the area, as the Lakurawa and other bandits were seen fleeing and dispersing into nearby forests and hard-to-reach areas.
Their movement suggests that the pressure from the strikes has disrupted their operations, even though the security situation remains tense and unpredictable.
